Punky Drowns

Broken FaceI had enlisted in the US Air Force. I was stationed at Travis Air Base in California

I was a private with a wife and a young daughter. In order to make ends meet I worked several part-time jobs. It was while working one evening that I received “the CALL” that one that you hate to get because you know something bad had happened.

It was bad probably the worse thing I had ever experienced. As the oldest boy in a family of 5 boys and one girl,  I always felt a sense of responsibility for my younger siblings.

So when I heard that Wade (Punky) was dead, my world was shattered.

In the following audio recording, I have attempted to share with you how God gave me and my family the strength to move forward. Dave Sheets
